Team View: Overview

Overview
Team View is where you manage your Team Members and the Tasks delegated by you to people that are not on your Team.
The first half of the screen displays general “Cards” which give you a quick snapshot into various metrics.
The second half of the screen displays your Team Members’ individual cards based on your filters. These Cards give you a summary of your Team Members’ current workload and Capacity.
Task Detail

The Task Detail Card is the main driver for (1) delegating Tasks (which is discussed in a separate article) and (2) assessing Capacity.
Assessing Capacity

REMEMBER: Capacity % is relative to a period of time!
To assess the Capacity of your Team, enter the end of the period you are assessing under “Due Date” and leave the Estimated Time blank.
Example Screenshot 1: If you would like to see the Capacity for your Team by end of day, leave the Due Date at 5 PM on the current date. The Capacity % that appears are your Team Members’ capacities for that period.
Predicting Capacity

To predict Capacity based on a proposed Task, enter the Due Date of the Task and the Estimated Time that Task would take to complete.
All of your Team Cards will automatically update the Capacity % predictions, showing any increases in blue.
You can then click the “+Task” button:
- under a Team Member’s Card to assign the Task to that Team Member;
- under the “Task Detail” Card to assign the Task to someone not on your Team; or
- under the “Unassigned Tasks” Card to keep track of the Task for future assignment.
General Cards
Delegated By Me

This Card is a summary of all Tasks that you have delegated regardless of whether the Delegatee is on your Team.
You can click on each category to see the Tasks that make up that category and gain further detail.
All Lawyers

Team View: “All Lawyers” Card
This Card is a summary of all incomplete/outstanding Tasks that have been assigned to the Lawyers on your Team.
REMEMBER: This Card includes Tasks delegated to your Team Members from other users!
You can click on each category to see the Tasks that make up that category and gain further detail.
All Support

Team View: “All Support” Card
This Card is a summary of all incomplete/outstanding Tasks that have been assigned to the Support users on your Team.
REMEMBER: This Card includes Tasks delegated to your Team Members from other users!
You can click on each category to see the Tasks that make up that category and gain further detail.
Unassigned Tasks

This Card includes all Tasks that have been delegated without a Delegatee (see the section below on Delegating Tasks for more detail on delegation).
You can click on each category to see the Tasks that make up that category and gain further detail.
Team Docket

Team Docket: Overview
Team Docket is a search engine for Tasks assigned to your Team.
By clicking on the “Filter” button, you can see Tasks that meet only certain criteria.
You can click on each Task displayed on Team Docket to gain more detail and perform any actions related to that Task.
Accessing Team Docket
In order to access Team Docket, you can click on the “Team Docket” button on Team View.

Alternatively, clicking on any category on a Card in Team View will also open Team View (but it will open Team Docket with the correct filters to display the results of that category).
Exiting Team Docket
You can exit Team Docket by clicking the ” X Team Docket” button, which will return you to Team View.

Team Cards

Team Cards: Overview
This area of Team View displays Cards for all of your Team Members.
At a single glance, you can view the workload, Capacity, and availability of all of your Team Members.
The layout is split between “Lawyers” and “Support” users, for easy navigation.
Team Cards: Filters
There are three main filters that apply to your Team Cards. Only the relevant Cards will be displayed, by triggering or selecting these filters.
- Focused (when toggled on, this will show only “Focused” Team Members)
- this filter will show only the Team Members that have “Set Focus” selected. See the topic below entitled, “Slide-Out: Set Focus” for more information.
- Practice Area
- this filter will show only those Team Members who have a certain Practice Area assigned to them
- Office (subject to your Monthly Plan)
- this filter will show only those Team Members associated with a particular Office
Team Member Cards
Team Member Cards: Overview

Each Team Member Card shows vital metrics for you to assess performance including:
- Status;
- Main Practice Area; and
- Assigned Task information.
- You can click on each category of Task information to see the Tasks that make up that category and gain further detail.
Team Member Cards: Status Icons
The icon in the center of the Card will change to reflect certain information:
This icon will generally appear when the Team Member is not scheduled to work.
This icon is the default icon that appears during working hours or when assessing Capacity for a future period.
This icon will appear when a Team Member has selected that they will be working remotely. Clicking this icon will display the Team Member’s message.
This icon will appear when a Team Member has selected that they will be on vacation. Clicking this icon will display the Team Member’s message.
Team Member Cards: Slide-Out

By clicking on the round picture (or initials, if a picture is not set) of a Team Member Card, a slide-out will appear.
This Slide-Out contains more detailed information of a Team Member, including:
- Hourly Targets;
- Pronouns;
- Communication methods (e.g., Microsoft Teams / Microsoft Outlook);
- Calendar schedule showing all vacation or remote time taken; and
- Standard working schedule.
Slide-Out: Set Focus

By clicking the star icon next to “Set Focus” on a Team Member’s Slide-Out, that Team Member’s Card will now be displayed when “Focused” is toggled on Team View.
You can click the Set Focus star again and that Team Member will no longer show when “Focused” is toggled on.
